We realize that clearly formulated quality and safety programs are the keys to achieving outstanding results on our projects. In short, safe work and quality work mean repeat customers. That credo has led us to 80 years of success.
Our quality control program starts with a thorough review of each submittal. And then progresses through the final punchlist checkoff. Each step of the way is managed and verified to ensure that the final finish is exactly right. When adverse conditions arise, our experience and knowledge deflects any negative impact on the project.
Our quality program extends to using quality materials. We’re constantly reviewing the best suppliers to doubly ensure that each job has that unmistakable Eugenio finished appearance and durability.
We’ve applied the same dedicated focus and corporate expertise to the urgent matter of safety.
Today, more than ever, the safety of workers is the most important function of management in construction. The nature of industrial cleaning and painting is such that safety issues are front and center and must be addressed.
We provide extensive safety and hazard training with monitoring of all our employees. They are all trained with a minimum of 18 modules of the M.U.S.T. safety program and are current on their drug screening. In addition, everyone has been trained in our written corporate safety program. Anyone dealing with specific high risk tasks receives additional specialized training such as lead awareness, asbestos awareness, respirator fit test, fit-for-duty medical certifications and aerial platform training. All foremen and designated safety personnel also receive CPR training and OSHA 30-hour certificates.
We also provide comprehensive pre-task analysis and daily safety huddles to assist workers to always think safety.
This broad-reaching and unqualified commitment to employee safety has resulted in our current EMR of 0.78 and a DART Rate of 0.00 for 2013.
